Beneath Us

This is the cover I made for a friends very first published novel!

It´s called (translated from Swedish) The Sea Beneath Us and is a sort of urban fantasy story that takes place on black underground oceans that roll in secret beneath the modern cities of Sweden (yay, local fantasy!). A very run of the mill doctor gets his butt tossed down to this stygian splash zone and meets awesome pirates. The premise is original and the characters have a lot of depth, warmth and humor as well as drama, so this is a solid first work and if you get a chance to read it and you´re into gloomy, sort of gritty pirate fantasy (or think you might be) then check it out!
